Poured himself a glass of lemonade, a bowl of cereal with rice milk, and had himself some breakfast.
To me, this was a quintessential moment to post here. I filled up so fast with contentment as a parent to this child. The utter peace of seeing him in his moment and knowing that he got himself there...something about that is what I feel all this is about.
This is what homeschooling is for me, simply living each day, growing in to who we are becoming. This is hard to explain...may be hard to understand. But, every moment does count. To paraphrase John Holt, all of us are learning how to live all the time.
