Wii

We got a Wii for Xmas.  Well, the kids did.  And Cap did (he is chomping at the bit for Madden).  I don't generally enjoy video games because they make me agitated...and bring out a wicked competitiveness in me that is not fun.

Sag received a Lego Rockband Wii game for his birthday which we ended up returning because we would have needed to buy several specialized pieces of hardware in order to play the game.  He chose this game as a replacement and it seems really fun.  Now, we are in search of a second Wii remote control.  How long will it take stores to re-stock?  Hopefully before the Winter Olympics start :-)

  1. I stayed at Jack and Melissa's on New Year's Eve and one of Jared's friends brought the Wii over so I played a little of the bowling. I think the Wii is a great family game.

  2. Adam got me a Wii for Hanukkah and we have been having a blast. Are you clued into the whole used Wii games thing? You can buy used games from Game Stop and check them out and then return them within 7 days if you don't like them. So our Wii (bought from a friend whose daughter was lobbying for a DS) and all of our games are second hand! (-;

    Some of the more popular second hand games aren't even that much cheaper than you can buy them new, but being able to try them out has been great. We just returned about $100 worth of games we thought we'd like but didn't.
